Introduction to the Venue of Euro-Asia Economic Forum
The venue of Euro-Asia Economic Forum is located at the Chanba peninsula- the core of Chanba ecological area-in Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province. Boasting its surrounding natural beauty, the venue has a superb location, only 20 minutes drive to downtown Xi’an and 40 minutes drive to Xianyang International Airport. Given the environment-friendly principle in Chanba ecological area, the project planning highlights a tranquil and harmonious living environment, thus creating a refreshing and verdant landscape of water town in northern China based on the waterways of Chan River, Ba River, and their surrounding delta.
International Convention Center and Hotel for Euro-Asia Economic Forum have a floor area of 67,000m2. Coupled with a dozen of large, medium and small conference rooms, the main conference hall has a capacity of 1200 people. The International Convention Center and the five-star hotel are subject to the management of Kempinski Hotels Corporation. The venue is surrounded by business centers, upscale housing areas and other supporting service centers; however, there is no lack of green land. After completion, the structure will become a well-appointed and upscale center for convention, exhibition, and business activities, a perfect place for conference, catering, and recreation.
Hosting the Euro-Asia Economic Forum is the first step for Xi’an to make its international presence. The construction of Forum venue and its surrounding areas will, to a large extent, elevate the city’s taste, stimulate its regional economic growth, and entrench the status of Xi’an as a regional center for business and trade, convention and exhibition, logistics, finance as well as medial care. By doing so, a platform for further development is offered, enabling Xi’an to rise to an even better international profile.
